I've used several of these that were plastic and they would break within a few weeks. Other brands of pouring spoons don't seem to have the right lip at the edge, and the layering only works half the time. This one, well, it would be worth it's weight in gold if it was made in 24K. I've been using mine for two years now and it still works like it did the day I got it.
